Yves Rocher - Grand Rouge Lipstick in Rouge Vif / Bright Red (+Swatch) - Review

Here, I have another review on a Yves Rocher product! It's the Grand Rouge Lipstick!
I tend to go for pink, coral or nude lipsticks, but when I want to wear a red lip, this is my go-to lipstick! ^^

Packaging:


The lipstick tube looks very chic! It's gold & has a tilted cap! It
gives it a very edgy look! The brand name is written on the lipstick as well! On the bottom is information on the colour of the lipstick!

It's a bit bulkier than my other lipsticks! I like to see the colours of my lipsticks, so I put them upside down! I can't do it with this one, because the cap is tilted! I wish that would be changed! ^^

Texture & Duration:

It's a very smooth lipstick, that easily glides on the lips! Super easy to apply & great colour pay-off!
One swatch is definitely enough! But if you'd like it even more dramatic, you can put more on! It's buildable! It's very pigmented! ^^
It's longlasting! For me, it lasted about 5 hours! Even after it wears off a bit, it still leaves a stain on the lips! 

How to use:

Apply first to the "V" of the upper lip, then from the edges to the centre. Next apply to the lower lip. Lips are smoother, regenerated, and enhanced by long-wearing intense colour.



Scent:

This lipsticks has a very sweet & pleasant scent! I think it's most similar to the smell of sugar candies! If anyone still remembers, like those sugar sweets in heart forms, which have stuff like "I love you" written on it! ^^

Swatch: 

It's a very bright red colour & for me the best colour for a perfect red lip!
It's super pigmented & looks very lovely on the lips! (My skin is quite pale.)
It doesn't dry out my lips & is moisturizing! I don't need to apply lipbalm before the lipstick!

I think it's a lovely lipstick, which is affordable & definitely worth it's price! ^^

Lip Pencil (Brown)

Product description:

Comment:

The colour is reddish brown with a slight shimmer!
It's easy to apply & really creamy! (Great for beginners! ^^)
You can draw the lines precisely (good pigmentation!) & it lasts the whole day without smudging!
(You can even remove it with water & soap only!)
 

Waterproof Eye Pencil (Black)

Product description:

Comment:

This pencil is highly pigmented! It's a very dark black!
It's easy to apply and stays on the whole day! It doesn't smear or fade! ^^
It's very buttery! You have to remove it with a good makeup remover or even better cleansing oil or something of that sort!

(I haven't included a swatch of it! It's very much just a generic dark black!)

Folk Passion Khol Duos (Mandarin & Smokey Grey)

It's part of the limited "Yves Rocher Folk Passion Collection" of Winter 2013!





This pencil has a really unique colour combination. The Mandarin colour (very shimmery, peachy colour) has a bit of a frosty finish on one side, while the darky grey side is very creamy. The darker colour is buildable!
I like using the mandarin eyeliner on my lower lash line & in the inner corners! It just brightens my eyes a bit & makes them more awake, but isn't over the top! ^^

To sum it up:
Yves Rocher Eye & Lipliners are generally speaking really pigmented, creamy & easy to draw with!
Very recommendable for beginners! ^o^

Yves Rocher - Wild Blackberry Silky Lotion - Review

(Note: I'm going to slip in some products not from my Korean Beauty Haul in between!)

I've been using the "Satsuma Puree Body Lotion" from the Body Shop for as long as I can remember! It has such a lovely smell! Very fresh & energizing!

While I was in Paris this February, I saw a "Yves Rocher" & took a look inside!
I was happy to see that there was an array of body lotions, as mine just ran out!
All the other scents didn't strike me, but the "Wild Blackberry Silky Lotion" had such a nice & sweet scent to it, so I had to get it! ^^

This has now become my favourite body lotion! ^o^

Product description:

Texture:

This body lotion has a very light texture & it quickly absorbs into the skin. I like applying it after showering, because it makes my skin feel soft & moisturized!
It's not sticky at all, very hydrating & refreshing! My skin feels silky after applying it! I've been using it every day since I bought it! ^^

Scent:

It's smelling like real raspberries! (Very realistic!)
I think it's a lovely scent! It's not overly sweet, just the right amount for me!
The scent stays a long time! When I wake up in the morning, I can still smell it! ^^

Usage & Dosage:

Apply an appropriate onto your body & let its absorb.

The one down-side to this product is that it's freaking hard to get the lotion out of the bottle! You can't press the plastic to make it come out, as it's very sturdy!
A solution to this problem is either buying the pump, which was especially made for it or just fill it into an empty bottle, which has a pump (that's what I did)!

This is my all time favourite mascara! It's not so expensive & it does it's job really well!
I bought the black one & it leaves my lashes very black! My eyelashes aren't that long, so I'm really glad that it lenghtens & volumizes them! Also it doesn't clump & it separates my lashes well!

The problem with my previous mascaras was that they often smudged on me or weren't that easy to apply! This one stays on the whole day without smudging! It's very easy to use! So great for beginners as well! ^^

This one is also recommended if you have sensitive skin! It doesn't irritate me at all!
It's also easy to remove! I'd 100% recommend it! ^^

There is also a waterproof version!  I personally prefer the non- waterproof version, as it's easier to remove!

Yves Rocher - Fatigue Fighter Smoothing Roll-On Eye Care - Review

The product I'll be reviewing today is the "Fatigue Fighter Smoothing Roll-On Eye Care" from Yves Rocher!

Yves Rocher is a worlwide beauty & cosmetics brand founded the French entrepreneur Yves Rocher in 1959. According to their website:

I enjoy buying their products as there is less harm done to the environment & there is no animal testing as well! I've been using their products for a while now, as they're not that expensive & have good results! ^^ 

I've been searching for ages for a product which will manage to reduce my dark circles. I've tried so many, but I haven't found any which help reduce them, until I stumbled upon this product! ^^

That's how it looks with & without the cap on!
It was actually the first time, I used these beads thingies & I was like: Oh, this is weird!
But it surprisingly felt good & cooling on the skin! You have to slightly press(?) the tube, then a mint coloured cream will come out of the hole in the middle. Then massage it in with the beads!
Be careful not to press too much, because the skin will not be able to absorb the excess & your undereyes will stay looking greenish for a while! ^o^
As long as you don't apply too much, the green colour won't show!
I apply it once a day in the morning! It's a bit difficult if you want to put on makeup right afterwards, cause it won't work well in the undereye area. Your concealer will kind of mix with your cream, which looks a bit funny! ^^
You'll need to use it for at least 10 days to have any viewable results!
