Memebox - Superbox #41 My Cute Wishlist: Pencil Sharpener (Etude House)

Hello everyone!

Here's another review of what I got in my Memebox Cute Wishlist! Check my 1st review of an Cute Wishlist item, to see the box's contents!

This time it's a pencil sharpener by Etude House! ^^

Packaging:

It's a little plastic pencil sharpener, with a pink bottom part, a translucent upper part and of course the Etude House logo on it!

It looks very cute and Etude-House like! ^^

Performance:

You can only use this pencil sharpener for thin pens! Also, it's not that sturdy, so don't use it for hard plastic pencils! It works really well for any wooden eyeliner pencils though!

Verdict:

A cute pencil sharpener, who does a good job at sharpening not so hard eyeliner pencils!
Great for travel, as it's small & handy! ^^

Product description:

Waterproof, long-lasting and smoothly applying, RiRe's Luxe Auto Gel Eyeliner in Choco Brown is the perfect shade for featuring the popular softened yet defined eye makeup that Koreans enjoy! After all, it's about how natural you makeup looks but at the same time how far from natural it really is.

How to use:

Apply a lighter shade or eye shadow or a powder before applying the eyeliner. Draw onto your eyelids with the liner, carefully finishing off with a clean tail and filling in between both upper and lower lashes.

It is very creamy & easy to apply! It slides on smoothly! I really like the formula of it!

Water resistance:

I wore it all day & it didn't fade away at all! It's not water-resistant though! You can easily remove 70% off it with water!
As long as it stays on all day, I'm fine with it! ^^

Colour swatch:
A very pretty dark brown colour with a bit of shimmer!

Verdict:

I love lining my eyes with it! It gives a soft, yet defined look to the eyes! Brown gives eyes a warm look! It's not as harsh as black!

First of, I'm reviewing the "Missing U Handcream" by Etude House!

You have no idea, how often I had put this into an online shopping cart, but I just never bought it!
So, I'm really happy about it being in the box! ^o^

The box is hot pink and very sturdy!
These are the contents of the box! There's always an information sheet included!

This handcream was randomly selected from these variations:

1) Pink Dolphin (Floral)
2) Harp Seal (Green Tea)
3) Fairy Penguin (Baby Powder)
4) Panda (Peach)

I got the Fairy Penguin one! ^^

This pear shaped container features one of four available endangered or near endangered animal friends.

On Etude House's site, there is a page of the best selling global items! Missing U Owl hand creams are featured there! They also write about Missing U project, but I couldn't find anything about it online! So if anyone knows how it works, please tell me in the comments!

Packaging:

The handcream is in a box, made out of 100% recycled paper! The letter are printed with soy ink!
I think that's really nice touch! I wish all products would come in such a box! ^^

When you take it out: Cuteness Overload! ^o^

The plastic container looks like those Russian dolls! (I really adore Russian dolls! I have a middle sized one, standing in my glass cabinet! I love it! ^^)
There's a ucte penguin face on here with a little white flower!
It has the little hands of the penguin, standing out! So adorable! o^.^o

Product description:

Shea Butter - supply sufficient nutrition to the skin

Texture:

It has a nice, lightweight formula, a bit like a gel-like consistency! It's not super moisturizing, but just enough for my hands! Not greasy at all!
But it won't be moisturizing enough, if you have very dry hands!

Scent:

It has a very fresh baby powder scent! It can be a bit overwhelming, if you apply too much! It's a lovely scent! I like it a lot! ^^

Verdict:

Over all, I think this is a very nice hand cream for not overly dry hands! It has a pleasant baby powder scent! Plus the packaging is just so adorable! But a squeeze-out tube would be more hygienic! Make sure to have clean hands, before using it!

Memebox - Superbox #9 (Tony Moly) : Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm by Tony Moly

Hello everyone!

Long time no see! I've been extremely busy lately, so I haven't posted anything in the last few months! I'm sorry!!

I'm reviewing the "Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm" by Tony Moly! This product was included in the Memebox - Superbox #9 (Tony Moly)!

Memebox is a Korean Subsription Box Service! It's not a monthly subscription box service though! Memebox releases boxes about 3 times a week (usually Monday, Wednesday & Friday) and you can choose the boxes you like & buy them! ^^
For more info, you can visit their site!

Tony Moly is a South Korean cosmetics brand, established in 2006.
The name Tony Moly means 'putting style into packaging!
They have such adorable packaging! If you can't tell already, I'm a sucker for cute packaging! ^^

This products is part of the Tony Moly- Egg Pore Special Series!
It consists of:

These 3 eggs are a 3-step routine to get rid of rough skin and enlarged pores on your nose! ^^

Step 1: Egg Pore Blackhead Out Oil Gel
Step 2: Egg Pore Tightening Pack
Step 3: Egg Pore Silky Smooth Balm

Here's also a pic of a leafllet, I got when I was shopping Tony Moly products in Korea! There'll be further information on the other eggs on it!

So, now to the actual review! ^^

Packaging:

It's shaped like an egg! It's bigger than the normal egg though! It's gold in colour, with a crack-like pattern on top!
You screw open the top, then there's a lid to seal the product! Take away the lid now you can see the actual product! ^^

Product description:

Our pore concealing balm makes your skin smooth!
Smooth out enlarged pores!

Silky smooth balm formulated with egg white and camelia extract
Spread easily for light coverage
Makes skin feel luxuriously soft & radiant

Volume: 20ml

Directions:

Before applying your makeup, apply an appropriate amount to the area with enlarged pores and uneven skin texture to smooth out the skin!

Ingredients:

(This was hard to photograph, cause the box is transparent! So I put a piece of paper inside! I hope you can read it clearly enough!)

 Verdict:

I've tried all 3 eggs and this one is by far my favourite! The other two are more for clearing out the blackheads & tightening the pores!
This balm acts as an immediate cover-up for the pores! It's easy to apply & the pores vanish! It lasts the whole day! It can be kind of compared to a primer for your pores!
It works really well! ^^ It may look like there's not much product in this egg, but you seriously need  only a tiny bit of product for your nose!
A con would be that the egg isn't very handy for travel, as it takes up a lot of space!

I like it a lot & would recommend it! ^^

Yves Rocher - Grand Rouge Lipstick in Rouge Vif / Bright Red (+Swatch) - Review

Hello guys! ^^

Here, I have another review on a Yves Rocher product! It's the Grand Rouge Lipstick!
I tend to go for pink, coral or nude lipsticks, but when I want to wear a red lip, this is my go-to lipstick! ^^

Packaging:

The lipstick tube looks very chic! It's gold & has a tilted cap! It
gives it a very edgy look! The brand name is written on the lipstick as well! On the bottom is information on the colour of the lipstick!

It's a bit bulkier than my other lipsticks! I like to see the colours of my lipsticks, so I put them upside down! I can't do it with this one, because the cap is tilted! I wish that would be changed! ^^

Product description:

An intense color that is so long wearing, you forget about it.

Long-lasting, lipstick with intense colors that glides on and adheres like a second skin. The moisturizing formula with Camellia Oil, Vitamin E and Organic Sesame Oil offers a sensory application.

Result: slides on easily on the lips and so comfortable, you'll forget you're wearing it thanks to its creamy texture.

The Plus: its elegant and refined packaging, a veritable showcase that highlights the intense shades of the lipstick.

Key botanicals: camellia oil, organic sesame oil, soy extract, vitamin E.

Rare and precious camellia oil from eastern Asia has a veritable therapeutic effect.

In Grand Rouge Lipstick, it is an unforgettable elixir that smooths the lips and regenerates them: they appear more youthful.

89 %* of women observed smoother lips.

Texture & Duration:

It's a very smooth lipstick, that easily glides on the lips! Super easy to apply & great colour pay-off!
One swatch is definitely enough! But if you'd like it even more dramatic, you can put more on! It's buildable! It's very pigmented! ^^
It's longlasting! For me, it lasted about 5 hours! Even after it wears off a bit, it still leaves a stain on the lips!

How to use:

Apply first to the "V" of the upper lip, then from the edges to the centre. Next apply to the lower lip. Lips are smoother, regenerated, and enhanced by long-wearing intense colour.

Scent:

This lipsticks has a very sweet & pleasant scent! I think it's most similar to the smell of sugar candies! If anyone still remembers, like those sugar sweets in heart forms, which have stuff like "I love you" written on it! ^^

Swatch:

It's a very bright red colour & for me the best colour for a perfect red lip!
It's super pigmented & looks very lovely on the lips! (My skin is quite pale.)
It doesn't dry out my lips & is moisturizing! I don't need to apply lipbalm before the lipstick!

I think it's a lovely lipstick, which is affordable & definitely worth it's price! ^^
